Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Free Sourcing Tools ("FST"), a set of free tools operated by Gates Solutions Sàrl (Le Brassus, Switzerland). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the tools.
1. The service
FST provides free, browser-based tools for recruiters and sourcers. The tools are offered as is and free of charge. We may add, change, or remove tools at any time, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the tools for unlawful purposes or in violation of others' rights;
- abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent rate limits and access controls;
- resell or present the tools as your own.
Many tools help you build searches for third-party platforms (LinkedIn, Google, Meetup, Arxiv, and others). You remain responsible for using those platforms in line with their own terms of service and with applicable laws, including data-protection rules when handling candidate information.
3. AI-assisted features
Some tools generate suggestions using AI. These outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate — treat them as a starting point and verify before relying on them. Don't enter sensitive personal data into AI tools (see our Privacy Policy).
4. No warranty
The tools are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gates Solutions Sàrl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tools.
6. Intellectual property
The FST brand, design, and tool implementations are owned by Gates Solutions Sàrl unless stated otherwise. Some components are open source; where that's the case, their respective licenses apply.
7. Third-party links and services
The site links to and integrates with third-party services. We're not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply to you.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
